Our mission is to keep our residents and visitors safe in the water, as well as on the beach. In addition lifeguards are responsible for general housekeeping on the beach and making sure all beach regulations are enforced. Our Beach Patrol is co-ed and consists of 30 people. We have 28 guards, one first lieutenant and a captain.

Beach patrol coverage begins Memorial Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Monday). Thereafter the beach patrol will be on duty for the weekend of June 5-6 with full time coverage beginning on June 12 and extending through Labor Day (September 6). Weekend coverage will resume the following two weekends. As usual, daily hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
