Fenwick Island Fishing Club held their first Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament on Saturday October 13, 2007. Eighteen anglers enjoyed beautiful weather and caught 336 fish between them, 84 of which scored. All the fish were released.
1st place: [shared by] Leroy & Jason Buzzard, of Bora Bora St, 150 points each. Prize: $125.00
3rd place: Josh Armstrong, W. Essex St, 124 points. Prize: Surf Rod & Reel
Jr. Division under 12: 1st place: Sam Dixon, W. Houston St. Prize: Rod & Reel combination.
Jr. Division 12-16: 1st place James Ellis, W. Indian St. Prize: Rod & reel combo.
BIGGEST fish caught was 18' Bluefish caught by Josh Armstrong. Prize: $100.00
BIGGEST Bluefish caught was 18" caught by Josh Armstrong. Prize: $85.oo.
